Pete did some great work with his brother putting this car together and it ran flawlessly on the dyno. While the car didn’t make an incredible amount of power, the only reason for that was the stock turbo and low boost. Pete was proving that the stock turbo with the right supporting modifications can make a good deal of power and be a ton of fun to drive. Which it was. The AEM V2 tuned really well, and this ECU is a huge step forward compared to the V1. Using VE based tuning makes the mapping a breeze and the base map from AEM was very close to begin with. The start-up and tip-in fueling was great.
